We need those files:
decrypted >> xxx.pak.zip
@echo off
setlocal enabledelayedexpansion
set "decrypt_tool=PakDecrypt.exe"
set "folder_path=."
for %%f in ("*.pak") do (
set "file=%%f"
echo Decrypting %%~nxf...
"%decrypt_tool%" "%%f"
)
echo All .pak files processed.
pause
rename
#!/bin/bash
for file in *.pak.zip; do
name=$(basename "$file" .pak.zip)
echo "$file -> ${name}_wf.pak"
mv "$file" "${name}_wf.pak"
done
CryEngine 3.5.8 Crysis 3 Weapons Tutorial (01) [From DaliMotion]
Настройка оружия Wf в CryEngine 3
Firstly, choose a weapon. The xml files names like sr49.xml . This is just a weapon code number. We need to find the name of the weapon corresponding to the number.
pt - pistol
ar - assult rifle
hmg - heavy machine gun
mg - machine gun
shg - shotgun
smg - submachine gun
sr - sniper rifle
stg - sticky grenade
sg - smoke grenade
So go to GameSDK/Localized/English.pak/languages/text_weapons.xml and search the weapon name.
Then go to GameSDK/GameData/items/weapons/sr49.xml get the main settings about a weapon. It is easy to understand their respective functions just by looking at the label names.
At the beginning line of this xml file, you can find that it includes another xml file → view_settings="objects/weapons/sr49/sr49.xml" . In this xml, it’s details of weapon view such as geometry action (fire, idle, reload, zoom_in, zoom_out, etc.) materials
Customization is always cool, right? Let's talk about how to custom a weapon skin. There are not only sr49.xml files in GameData, but also some other similar files like sr49_desert01.xml sr49_pirate01.xml. These are skin version weapons. If you just want to add skins to the original one (I mean the black one :D), you needn’t create those files. You just add new tags in the original xml files like sr49.xml
